I have interesting news for all the law graduates! AIBE 20 Registration is live! The Bar Council of India (BCI) has officially released the notification for the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) 20. The exam is scheduled to be held on November 30, 2025.

If you are one of those who are preparing for the examination so it should be noted that it is the time as registration is live on the official website. AIBE 20: Important Dates

As per the released schedule, candidates must carefully note the following deadlines:

Online Registration Begins September 29, 2025
Payment of Registration Fee Starts September 29, 2025
Online Registration Closes October 28, 2025
Last Date for Online Payment October 29, 2025
Last Date for Form Correction October 31, 2025
Release of Admit Card November 15, 2025
Date of Examination November 30, 2025

Do not worry! You all have enough time, as the registration window will close on October 28th! After this, the last date for registration will extend to October 29th, but with the payment of the late fees. BCI has also allowed candidates to make corrections in their registration form until October 31.

After the registration process is done then the admit cards will be issued for examination on November 15th.

What is the AIBE?

Bar Council of India conduct an examination every year, which is of All India Bar Examination. It is a certificate exam that comes out as a mandatory qualification for law graduates who wish to practice law professionally in India.

 AIBE 20 Registration: Eligible candidates include:

  • Those who have completed a three-year or five-year LLB degree, and

  • Final-year students with no pending backlogs.

  • General and OBC candidates must secure at least 45% to pass.

  • SC/ST and differently-abled candidates must score at least 40%.
